Profound impact

I'm not sure I can add anything that hasn't already been said about the assassination of Charlie Kirk, but I feel compelled to.  Many people have expressed that this murder is different and most cannot quantify why.  I feel the same.  This is different and I feel like a tidal wave is coming.

I've watched Charlie Kirk's campus videos for years, mostly just snippets of his events, but enough to have a real sense of the guy.  I've seen him interviewed dozens of times and heard him speak at the RNC and other conservative events that I know and respected him greatly for his courage and intelligence.  The guy was simply brilliant and when you find out he was nearly self-taught in everything, it sort of blows you away.  I don't think I had a full understanding of just powerful he was though.  I had no idea how huge Turning Point USA had become and the legions of followers he has.  Nor did I realize just how many people throughout our country and abroad that he had friendships with.  It is almost super-human that he kept in contact with so many people and reached out to so many others, many of these are people you and I have never heard of, but Charlie would see them on social media and would send out encouragements and invites.  I mean, it is staggering.  How he had time to do all he was doing and reach so many people is incredible.  Every day since his passing I have found out more and more and a tidal wave is indeed coming.

The profound lies of the left, the entire narrative they have been preaching and hiding behind for decades has crumbled with one shot.  The true intentions of their ideology are nothing short of a disgusting perversion, filled with intolerance, deception and an intent to divide.  They are aided by China and Russia in a effort to subvert America from within and have a stranglehold on the education system and much of the media.  That is about to end.  This Marxist and socialist ideology needs to be eradicated.  It fuels hatred when all you have is to call your enemies names that engender violence, like Nazis, racist, misogynist, nationalist or threats to democracy.  The useful idiots spouting these comments and cheering on the death of conservatives are just programable drones and they are the foot soldiers in this war.  They have no real idea of what they believe or are saying, their moral compass is way off and we will have a reckoning soon.  Of course, all of this has been said before.  We know the rhetoric leads to violent actions by these people and the leaders on the left always deny any attachment to it, but they know.  One of the famous or perhaps infamous cries of Marxists has always been, the ends justify the means.  Violence is encouraged.  The left allowed Antifa to riot for weeks, the left allowed Minneapolis to burn and a precinct to be over-run, they allowed LA to be under siege this summer.  They did nothing to stop it, thus encouraging it, and funding it from behind the veil.   They have funded all of these uprisings.  This time, however, they have no idea what they have wrought and a tidal wave is coming.

Charlie Kirk did everything the right way.  He is none of the things his haters say.  He fought very hard for the free and open debate and believed in free speech so much so, he lost his life for it.  I never saw him mock or ridicule anyone.  He never shouted someone down.  He always had those who disagreed with him come to the front of the line and 100% of the time he won the debate through facts, logic and grace.  He exposed the lies of the left to the astonishment of those challenging him.  Leaving their mouths agape as he quickly vaporized their arguments, leaving them to rethink their positions.  I learned at a very young age that as soon as an argument devolves into name calling and aggression, you have lost.   When you have no further counter to your opponent than to hurl invectives, you might as well surrender.  My own brother did this to me.  I learned that I better educate myself or I would suffer many a defeat.  To the left, this is intolerable and the gains Kirk made on campuses across the country was unacceptable.  He had to be stopped.  Every person cheering his death or saying he deserved what he got is a lost soul.  Their arguments were vaporized and when you are as invested emotionally, as all liberals are, it is the reason they are liberal, then unless you are willing to accept defeat, your only response is to silence your opposition.  Some recent polling proves my point.  A staggering amount, 48% and 55% of those considering themselves left leaning were ok with killing Elon Musk and Trump.  Half of the left's storm troopers are willing to be killers, aid in the killing or justify the killing of their opponents.  Charlie Kirk was literally in the lion's den on these campuses, where the indoctrination of our youth is usually completed.   This inhumanity has me really thinking and I am fearful more than I ever was.  Luckily, businesses and communities are now rejecting the vile posts and comments made by some people, firing them or deplatforming them.  Good courageous people are speaking out, the mantle is being picked up by thousands, millions.  Oh, a tidal wave is coming.

I have to admit, I have been profoundly impacted by his death.  The last few days have been a blur of emotions and even though I never met Charlie Kirk, I know he was born to do what he did and the way he went about his work was, well, it couldn't have been done any better.  Millions of people who didn't even know who he was are now seeing his videos and seeing his impact and they can see that the lies of the left are laid bare.  He was, first and foremost, a man of deep faith in God.  That faith is infectious.  He also was learned beyond his years and instead of coming across as arrogant, he was teaching others with that knowledge.  If you felt inferior to him it was because you were.  Most people would walk away being impressed, but if you felt inferior, it was because the ideals you were taught were inferior and didn't stand up to the weight of fact.  That might have driven the intellectually inferior left crazy,  but everyone else stood in awe, saying I couldn't have dismantled that argument that fast with that much aplomb with that much grace, with that much patience.  I couldn't do it.  So, Charlie Kirk will be a martyr.  It's impossible to change that now.  The accolades and specials on tv and remembrances will go on and on because he deserves them.  His likability will endure, probably mostly because he wasn't a politician.  He was given a gift and that gift was used to great effect.  His message was of hope, freedom and America.  It was for the hearts and minds and it always involved encouragement and heavy doses of faith.  Faith in America has been under assault by the left for decades.  If you ever wondered why that is the case, you need not ask that question any more.  Evil exists and it is an insidious disease that comes in the form of Marxism and socialism.  Faith stands in the way of more than two genders, it stands in the way of dividing people into groups based on race, sexual orientation and even their religion.  Faith stands in the way of abortion and the inhumanity that grows out of not seeing an unborn child as a human with no value.  It is why they can cheer someone being shot to death and laugh about it.  Faith has always stood in the way of totalitarianism.  Every dictator has always attacked the church.  The morals and ethics of a religious population stands in opposition to the murderous intents of a dictator who will commit genocide in the name of their ideology.  The only religion allowed in dictatorships is that of faith in the state.  Make no doubt, the left in this country is all for a dictatorship, where they control everything, the courts, the power, the energy and the morality.  Have you ever seen a group of people more hellbent on dividing us than the left?  If you don't believe what they believe, they label you, they single you out, they demonize you and eventually they imprison and or kill you.  In order to do that, they need a willing army of drones who lack humanity and reason.  College professors, college students and many in the media fall squarely into their army.  You know what though, there are still more of us than them.  The middle ground has shrunk.  This murder has changed everything.  Wow, a tidal wave is coming and that tidal wave's name is Charlie.
